BLENDED LEARNING - CPR/FIRST AID/AED, ALL AGES (ASHI)
Blended Learning is done in a manner that is accepted by all State regulatory authorities. The same course that is taught in-person will be viewed online prior to you scheduling an in-person "skills practice" session. This allows you to work one-on-one with an instructor to go over the class materials and be signed-off as certified. This is NOT an online only course.
ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) carries the same weight as the American Heart Association and Red Cross. ASHI adopts the same standards published by the AHA ECC Board for CPR and First Aid. ASHI is geared more towards OSHA compliance for the workplace which makes them a leader in training for the industrial and construction sectors.
This course includes the latest published training materials for CPR and AED use, with the addition of Basic First Aid (basic principles, Bloodborne Pathogen controls, PPE, injuries, medical emergencies, environmental exposures, etc.). Includes adult, child and infant CPR; choking emergencies, how to use an Automated Defibrillator, and how to respond to an Opioid Overdose. This course is not acceptable for State Pediatric licensure, look for the Pediatric course to ensure you get the entire required course. Certification card will be issued after completion and is valid for 2 years.
